Tomatin Distillery wurde 1897 südlich von Inverness erbaut und diente dem damaligen Blended Whisky boom. 1985 wurde sie vorübergehend geschlossen. Seit 2006 ist der neue Besitzer dabei die bis dahin wenig beachtete Brennerei zu einem Produzenten von High class Single Malt zu machen. In den vergangenen 10 Jahren sind rund 30 neue  Abfüllungen auf dem Markt erschienen. Nun ist es an der Zeit uns dieser Brennerei zu widmen. Wir nehmen 4 herausragende age-statement Abfüllungen der core range in unser Sortiment auf. Sowie die 5 neuen und stark limitierten Abfüllungen der "five virtues series"

Core range:

Tomatin 12

Matured in a combination of Bourbon barrels and Sherry casks. Strength: 43% alc./vol.

The Tomatin 12 Year Old is smooth and silky.

Tomatin 14 port

Matured in a combination of Bourbon barrels and Port casks. Strength: 46% alc./vol.The Tomatin 14 is benefiting from its time spent in Tawny Port casks which previously held port for around 50 years

Tomatin 18

Final Maturation in Oloroso Sherry butts. Strength: 46% alc./vol.

The Tomatin 18 Year Old is a truly world class malt. Matured in traditional oak casks and first fill Oloroso Sherry butts.
