“ ist eine Limited Edition und bereichert die Serie der Wemyss Handcrafted Blended Malts, bisher bestehend aus „The Hive“, „Spice King“ und „Peat Chimney“. „Kiln Embers“ besteht aus 65% schwer getorftem Islay Malt und bietet so eine weitere Variante und Alternative zum „Peat Chimney“, der eher verhalten rauchig - torfig auftritt.

„Kiln Embers“ wird unchill-filtered in 46% vol. und ohne Zusatz von Farbstoff abgefüllt. Colour: Polished gold Nose: Snuffed smoke from smouldering stubble fields drifts over the aromas of salted lemons, sweet cure bacon and lemon barely water with herbal freshness of spearmint. Palate: Warm oats and orange peel are toasted over a bed of slowly dying embers and heathery peat while mingling with crispy pancetta and rosemary focaccia blackened at the edges. Finish: Chewy and wholesome with sweet smoke barreling around the palate. 41,90 Euro
